Ysleta Del Sur

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity from Sols 5018 - 5023 (March 6 - 11, 2018). About 58 degrees wide, the rocky outcrop showcased in this view is named Ysleta Del Sur, and was later imaged on Sol 5050 after driving a little over 3 meters (about 10 feet) closer. Ysleta Del Sur is the mesa-like feature that divides the north and south trough in Perseverance Valley and can seen as the bright triangle feature on the left-center of the Outcrop panorama from Sols 4998 - 5015. Pancam's 753 nm, 535 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
