LBLS West Position 1

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1859 (March 26, 2009).  About 117 degrees wide, this long baseline stereo (LBLS) mosaic spans from the west (image left) looking at the Western Route to the north (image right) where a small portion of the El Dorado Dune Field is visible. The same view was also taken two sols later on Sol 1861 with a slightly different camera elevation. Pancam's 753 nm filter was used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: a mosaic made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
