LBLS Part 1

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1349 (October 19, 2007).  About 140 degrees across at the widest part, the stunning view of this long baseline stereo (LBLS) mosaic is of the southwestern ridge of Home Plate looking towards Von Braun to evaluate possible drive paths towards Von Braun. Pancam's 753 nm filter was used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: a mosaic made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
