Small Ripple  << back to mosaics

Small Ripple

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 016 (January 19, 2004). The view shows small ripples near Sleepy Hollow, and was imaged from a slightly different location on sol 14. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used to make this mosaic. Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
