Small Ripple

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 014 (January 17, 2004). The view shows small ripples near an area known as Sleepy Hollow, and was imaged from a slightly different location on sol 16. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. The field of view is approximately 30 degrees wide. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
