Midfield Survey

         The Opportunity rover acquired this mosaic on Sols 652 and 653 (November 23 and 24, 2005). The view spans about 70 degrees. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used to create this image. Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences between different rock and soil units in the scene, and a red-blue stereo anaglyph to simulate the scene in 3D when viewed through red-blue glasses.
