Photometry East

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 607 (September 17, 2005). The rover took a series of images of this area under different lighting conditions. This is the view to the east at approximately 15:40 LST. The shadow of the vehicle's camera bar can be seen in the lower right corner. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
