Outcrop

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 600 (October 1, 2005). The image shows an area of outcrop directly off the front of the rover. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Four versions are available below at full resolution: a stereo anaglyph of the closer material for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses, an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a vertical projection stereo anaglyph of the whole mosaic for viewing with red-blue glasses.
