Trough Floor

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sols 4926 and 4928 (December 2 & 4, 2017). Roughly 80 degrees wide across the bottom frames, the view in this scene is of some bedrock in the trough floor that was taken in the direction of Opportunity's next drive. Pancam's 601 nm filter was used in making this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: a mosaic made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
