Albedo Pan
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 4924 (November 30, 2017). The 360 degree wide view shows the terrain around the rover. Albedo panoramas give Opportunity's science team information about the surface reflectance in the area. The center of this particular albedo panorama is looking back uphill at the path Opportunity took descending further into Perseverance Valley and features a couple sets of rover tracks. The leftmost frame showcases a mesa-like feature separating a channel into a northwestern trough (seen here on the right) and a southern trough (seen here on the left-center).
Pancam's 601 nm filter was used in making this mosaic. This is a mosaic made from the left eye only.
