Larrys Lookout  << back to mosaics

Larrys Lookout

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 490 (May 20, 2005). It shows an up close view of the outcrop called Larry's Lookout (see the same feature in context). The field of view is approximately 40 degrees. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
