Rocheport Panorama
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity between Sols 4641 and 4654 (February 12 - 25, 2017). About a 230 degree wide field of view, the Rocheport Panorama spans from the south-souteast on the left to the north on the right. The approximate true color is more pink than usual because of the high and changing atmospheric dust conditions over the course of the several weeks during March of 2017 that it took to acquire these images. For more details about this panorama, visit the press release of the mosaic by JPL.
Pancam's 753 nm, 535 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in making this mosaic. Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
