This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 459 (April 18, 2005). The field of view is roughly 26 degrees wide. The rover's tracks can be seen in the center of this image. For scale, the distance between the two parallel tracks is about 1 meter (3.3 feet). Pancam's 601nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
