Swann Hill

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 4079 (July 15, 2015).  About 27 degrees wide, this view shows a very small portion of the farmost right base of Swann Hill, which was imaged in full previously. In the background of this mosaic is the floor of Endeavour Crater, seen here as blue in false color. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
