Drive Path

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3719 (July 10, 2014).  This approximately 43 degree wide mosaic provides an overview of the features to the south, in the future drive path of the rover. On the left side of the image, the floor and part of the far rim of 22 kilometer (14 mile) wide Endeavour Crater is visible. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
