Photometry WEST

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 357 (January 3, 2005). This 16 degree wide image shows a column of terrain west of the rover. Spirit's distant tracks can be seen in the upper frame, and part of the right solar panel is shown in the lower left corner. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
