This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3559 (January 27, 2014). The rover sat with its robotic arm near the Pinnacle Island rock target, and the intent of this image was to examine the rover's tracks to determine whether the target was disturbed by the vehicle. In the lower frames, Opportunity's deck, solar panels, and Low Gain Antenna (LGA) can be seen. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
