Opportunity Deck Pan
NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity used its Pancam panoramic camera to take this image of its deck, about three weeks before completing a decade of work on Mars. Just days before this was taken, the wind removed some of the dust on the solar panels. The downward-looking view omits the mast on which the camera is mounted, but does show the shadow cast from the mast. This mosaic was taken from Solander Point on the rim of 14-mile-wide (22-km-wide) Endeavour Crater. The images were taken through the camera's 601nm, 535nm and 482nm filters over Sols 3536 - 3538 (January 3-6, 2014).
