Boodie

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3418 (September 4, 2013). The field of view is approximately 27° wide and shows an area of outcrop off the rear of the rover. The name Boodie refers to a small marsupial found in Australia. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red blue glasses.
