Turkey Leg

The Spirit rover acquired this mosaic of the target named Turkey Leg on Sol 313 (Nov 19, 2004).  The name came about as Thanksgiving approached, and this mosaic was taken along with another one of a target called Pumpkin Pie.  The field of view is about 45 degrees across, and shows rock outcrop encountered as Spirit made its way to Husband Hill.
This mosaic was acquired in Pancam's 673-nm, 535-nm, and 432-nm filters. Two versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences in the scene.
