This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3103 (October 16, 2012). After leaving Whitewater Lake, the rover drove upslope and took this image of an interesting feature nearby. The field of view is approximately 27 degrees wide, and part of the rover's deck is visible in the lower right side of the view. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph to show the scene in 3D when viewed through red-blue glasses. All mosaics are additionally offered in vertical projections.
