This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 2971 (June 2, 2012). The view shows the rover tracks as they pass over a vein of light toned material. The field of view is approximately 40 degrees wide. The mosaic is a vertical projection. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
