Blake River

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 2695 (August 23, 2011).  Blake River is an imaging target on the rim of Odyssey Crater, a small (~15 meter) crater on the rim of Endeavour Crater. It is named for part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt on Earth. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
