Northeast Survey 4x2

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 2139 (January 29, 2010). As part of an ongoing survey of the region around Concepcion Crater, Opportunity took this mosaic looking to the northeast. The port solar panel wing and the High Gain Antenna (HGA) can bee seen to the lower left. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
