Tracks

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1717 (November 21, 2008). The view shows the freshly made tracks behind the rover after a drive. This area was imaged again on Sol 1745 to look for changes over time. The rover was on its way between Victoria Crater and Endeavour Crater. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
