West Valley

Spirit acquired the Pancam "West Valley" panorama on sols 1366 - 1369 (November 6-9, 2007) as it traversed along the western edge of Home Plate, heading clockwise toward a spot called "Beautiful Mess." Husband Hill and the El Dorado dune field can be seen to the right of center in the distance.
This mosaic was created from Pancam's 753-nm, 535-nm, and 432-nm filters. Three versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences, and a stereo anaglyph to simulate the scene in 3D when viewed through red-blue glasses.
