Ingress Survey Right
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1293 (September 13, 2007). The image shows the ground and part of the interior of Victoria Crater off the right side of the rover. The visible seam between the frames (more obvious in the false color version) is caused by dust buildup on Pancam's front sapphire window.
Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
