Front Low Sun

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1218 (June 7, 2007).  The view of the ground in front of the rover is shown in this approximately 47 degree wide mosaic that was acquired while the sun was low in the sky. A similar rear low sun mosaic was also taken on the same day. Pancam's 432 nm filter was used in making this mosaic.  This is a mosaic made from the left eye only.
