Drive Direction

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1175 (April 23, 2007).  The approximately 56 degree wide view shows the rover's upcoming drive direction towards the white soil region, named Gertrude Weise, that was previously churned up by the stuck right front wheel of the rover visible on the edge of the rightmost frame. Pancam's 432 nm filter was used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: a mosaic made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
