Spirit Sol 116 "Big Hole" Trench

        This mosaic was acquired on Sol 116 (April 30, 2004), shortly after Spirit completed her 90 Sol primary mission. Digging this "Big Hole" trench was a brief pause along the way to her ultimate destination in the "Columbia Hills," which lay over a mile away from this location.

        Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used to make this mosaic.
