Foreground Tracks |

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1109 (March 8, 2007). The rover's front wheel can barely be seen in the upper right side of the image, along with its wheel track extending down and to the left. The smaller subframed image in the lower portion of the mosaic shows the top of a small ripple near the track. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph to simulate the scene in 3D when viewed through red-blue glasses. These mosaics are vertical projections.
