Dust Devil Finder

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 104 (April 18, 2004).  This 160 degree wide strip was taken at different times throughout the Sol to look for dust activity just above the ground in Gusev crater. Pancam's 753nm and 432nm filters and a synthesized 535nm filter were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
