Bonneville Crater  << back to mosaics

Bonneville Crater

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 078 (March 22, 2004). The approximately 145 degree wide mosaic shows the interior of Bonneville Crater, with the rover's heat shield visible on the far rim. Pancam's 432nm and 436nm filters were used in making this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: one made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
