Photometry West

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 056 (February 29, 2004). The 16 degree wide image was repeated at different times of day. The rover's tracks are visible in the left side of the view. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
