Drive Direction

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 039 (February 11, 2004). The image provides a view in the rover's intended drive direction. The field of view is about 26 degrees wide. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used to generate the mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
