Forescatter MEX West |
||||
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 029 (February 1, 2004). It was part of a coordinated photometry campaign with the Mars Express orbiter (MEX), which was passing overhead around the time this image was acquired. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
