Welcome to Pancam Home!
The Pancam is a high-resolution stereo camera that took color pictures of
the surrounding Martian landscape from the Mars Exploration Rovers.
These images were used in the discovery of local geology, morphology, topography, and meteorology. They also helped
determine which sites the rovers should visit next. This site is a dedicated history of all
Pancam images that were acquired during the course of the mission and information about ongoing projects dealing with
Pancam data.
