Soria 2 |
||||
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1264 (August 14, 2007). This comparison image of tracks called Soria was taken three sols after another mosaic was taken of the same area. Atmospheric opacity was still high after a major dust storm. This additional set of images was intended to be used to detect changes from wind or from dust setlling out of the atmosphere. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
