Effa Manley

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 767 (February 28, 2006). This mosaic is named after Effa Manley, the first woman to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The field of view spans approximately 93 degrees, and shows the area Spirit encountered as she neared Home Plate. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
