El Dorado Photometry

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 708 (December 30, 2005). The 16 degree wide column showing a portion of the dunes at El Dorado was taken at 17:29 LST. This area was imaged under different lighting conditions, at 12:10, 10:00, 11:15, 11:45, and 13:32 LST. Pancam's 753 nm, 601 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
