Miami

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 693 (December 14, 2005). The field of view is about 26 degrees wide. For a sense of scale, the large rocks in this image range from about 50 centimeters to 1 meter in size. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
