Workvolume

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 605 (September 15, 2005). The image shows an area very close to, and including, the front of the rover. The view includes part of the front right and left solar panels, the hinges that attach them to the central panel, the JPL and NASA stickers, and the magnets at the base of the Pancam Mast Assembly (PMA). Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
