Photometry East

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 564 (August 4, 2005). The rover took a series of images of this area under different lighting conditions. This is the view to the east at approximately 12:34 LST. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
