North Channel Drive Direction

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 4896 (November 1, 2017). About 60 degrees wide, this mosaic is in the direction of the upcoming drive where the rover team hoped the north channel could be seen. Pancam's 601 nm filter was used in this mosaic.  This is a mosaic made from the left eye only.
