Drive Direction West

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 4684 (March 28, 2017). About 31 degrees wide, the field of view seen here is of the upcoming drive direction to west with more near-field coverage than is normal. Pancam's 753 nm, 535 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
