Marathon Valley N Wall  << back to mosaics

Marathon Valley N Wall

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 4104 (August 10, 2015).  The field of view shown is approximately 57 degrees wide showing portion of the north wall of Marathon Valley late in the Martian day. Extended imaging to the right of this mosaic can be seen as the northeast wall mosaic. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
