View up a hill

         The Spirit rover acquired this mosaic of the base of a nearby crest on Sol 368 (Jan. 15, 2005). This view shows the base of a small hill, and various rocks and rock outcroppings, near where Spirit was driving.
         This mosaic was acquired in Pancam's 753-nm, 535-nm, and 432-nm filters. Two versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximately true color rendering, and a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences in the scene.
