Hoonah Endeavour Rim

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3625 (April 5, 2014).  The image is approximately 67 degrees wide and shows an outcrop near the rim of Endeavour Crater. The far rim of the 22 kilometer (14 mile) wide crater is visible in the background of this mosaic. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
