This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3453 (October 10, 2013). This approximately 36° wide image was taken to show the view upslope from the rover's position. Rock outcrops become especially apparent in the false color image. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red blue glasses.
