This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3405 (August 22, 2013). Mulla Mulla is a large 60-70 centimeter (24-28 inch) long rock found near the base of Solander Point. The name Mulla Mulla refers to a plant that grows in Australia. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
